Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse associates across receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations
- Implement lean principles to optimize inventory accuracy and reduce handling costs
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and conduct regular equipment inspections
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure on-time dock scheduling
- Manage inventory control systems including cycle counts and discrepancy resolution
- Train and develop staff through performance coaching and skill-building programs
- Generate daily/weekly performance reports for senior leadership review
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in high-volume distribution centers
- Forklift certification and advanced knowledge of material handling equipment
- Proficiency in WMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and inventory software
- Strong problem-solving abilities with proven KPI improvement track record
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Experience managing unionized workforce a plus
