Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Lead and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse associates with performance evaluations
- Implement lean principles to optimize space utilization and operational efficiency
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Manage inventory control systems with 99.5% accuracy requirements
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and purchasing departments
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse experience with 2+ years in supervisory role
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operator credentials
- Strong analytical skills with KPI-driven mindset
- Proven ability to manage teams in union/non-union environments
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred
- Advanced Excel skills and data visualization experience
