Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping of goods
- Manage and mentor a team of 10-15 warehouse associates, ensuring performance standards
- Implement lean principles to optimize workflow and reduce operational costs
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance protocols
- Coordinate inventory management using WMS systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Collaborate with logistics team on transportation scheduling and carrier relationships
- Generate performance reports and implement data-driven improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or manufacturing
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI tracking and reporting
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varied warehouse environments
- Proven leadership skills in team development and conflict resolution
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
