Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping of high-value inventory
- Lead and mentor 15+ team members through performance management and skill development
- Implement lean principles to reduce operational costs and improve throughput by 20%+
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Utilize WMS systems to optimize inventory accuracy and cycle counting procedures
- Coordinate cross-functional relationships with transportation, procurement, and customer service teams
- Analyze KPIs to drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience in high-volume distribution centers
- Proven track record of reducing operational costs and improving productivity metrics
- OSHA 30 certification and advanced knowledge of safety regulations
- Expertise in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active) and inventory control
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams of 10+ employees
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent process improvement experience
