Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping of high-value inventory
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates using performance metrics
- Implement lean principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency (target: 20% productivity increase)
- Conduct safety audits and ensure OSHA compliance across all warehouse activities
- Manage inventory accuracy with cycle counts and WMS system optimization
- Coordinate with logistics team to maintain on-time delivery rates of 98%+
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervisory experience in high-volume distribution
- OSHA 30 certification and forklift operation expertise
- Proficient in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI tracking and reporting
- Excellent leadership abilities with proven team development track record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends during peak seasons
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management preferred
