Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor 10-15 warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and performance standards
- Implement efficient inventory control systems to maintain accuracy and minimize discrepancies
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics activities including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Analyze operational metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and ensure OSHA compliance
- Conduct regular audits and report on operational KPIs
- Collaborate with procurement and transportation teams for seamless supply chain flow
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in distribution or logistics
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory management software
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Proven leadership experience in team development and conflict resolution
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends during peak seasons
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
