Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor a team of 10-15 warehouse associates to ensure productivity and safety
- Implement and optimize inventory control procedures using WMS technology
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance standards
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics teams for seamless workflow
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Resolve operational challenges and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management or supervisory experience
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate diverse teams
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
