Responsibilities
- Lead 15+ member warehouse team in daily operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping
- Implement lean inventory management practices to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Ensure OSHA compliance and conduct weekly safety training sessions
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow using WMS software (Oracle preferred)
- Manage performance metrics: OTIF rates, labor efficiency, and inventory turnover
- Collaborate with transportation team on dock scheduling and carrier relations
- Conduct monthly inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
- Mentor staff through cross-training programs and career development plans
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse experience with 2+ years in supervisory role
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting KPI dashboards
- Excellent conflict resolution and team-building abilities
- Forklift certification and experience with RF scanning technology
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
