Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping processes
- Lead and mentor a team of 15-20 warehouse associates to meet productivity targets
- Implement safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance across all activities
- Optimize inventory control systems and conduct cycle counts
- Coordinate with transportation teams for efficient dock scheduling
- Resolve operational issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Generate performance reports and analyze KPIs for process optimization
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience in fast-paced environments
- Proven leadership skills with team development experience
- Familiarity with WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jacks)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
