Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping of temperature-controlled goods
- Manage 15+ person team through scheduling, training, and performance coaching
- Implement OSHA compliance protocols and maintain safety standards across all workflows
- Optimize inventory accuracy through cycle counts and WMS system management
- Coordinate with transportation teams for efficient dock scheduling and load planning
- Conduct quality control audits and resolve operational discrepancies
- Prepare operational reports and KPI metrics for senior leadership
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse/supervisory experience in cold storage or logistics
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development track record
- Ability to work in -20°F environments during winter months
- Excellent problem-solving skills for operational challenges
- Valid Alaska driver's license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
