Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
- Team Management: Supervise, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety and productivity.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and implement procedures to minimize shrinkage and optimize stock placement.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze operational reports, including KPI dashboards, to track performance against targets.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Certifications: Forklift certification (Class A/B/C) and OSHA 10-hour certification are required.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication.
