Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Manage, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of warehouse associates to achieve operational goals.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and compliance standards to maintain a secure workplace.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and manage stock accuracy to minimize shrinkage.
- Collaborate with logistics and procurement teams to optimize supply chain processes and resolve discrepancies.
- Train new hires on equipment usage, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Prepare and review operational reports, including productivity and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct teams and handle conflict resolution professionally.
- Forklift certification (Class A or B) and valid driver's license are preferred.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and computer software (Excel, SAP, etc.).
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
