Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory accuracy and ensure stock levels are maintained according to company standards using ERP systems.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance to maintain a hazard-free working environment.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and train new hires on standard operating procedures.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Monitor equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate with maintenance teams as needed.
- Resolve operational issues and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of warehouse experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Valid forklift certification and material handling equipment license.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse software.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime during peak seasons.
- Proven track record of meeting safety and productivity goals.
