Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high order accuracy.
- Manage, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to maximize productivity and morale.
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce strict compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
- Implement process improvements to reduce costs, minimize waste, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with management to develop strategic plans for warehouse optimization.
- Prepare daily reports on productivity, staffing needs, and operational issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
- Certified forklift operator and hands-on experience with material handling equipment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, data-driven decisions.
