Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Manage and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of productivity and safety
- Implement inventory control systems to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize losses
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize space utilization and efficiency
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with transportation and purchasing departments for seamless logistics flow
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of warehouse management experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage and develop teams
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Associates degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
