Responsibilities
- Supervise 15-20 warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Implement lean inventory management systems to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a zero-accident safety culture
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling and freight movement
- Utilize WMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) for inventory tracking and reporting
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives for operational excellence
- Manage facility maintenance and equipment safety protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse experience with 2+ years in supervisory roles
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations
- Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced environments
- Experience with lean methodologies and continuous improvement
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
