Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the day-to-day flow of warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment to ensure efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance and support to foster a positive work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and report discrepancies to management immediately.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement strategies to improve workflow and productivity.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment are maintained and operated correctly.
- Reporting: Generate and review daily reports regarding productivity, attendance, and operational issues.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: High school diploma or GED required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to give clear instructions.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot operational issues effectively.
- Computer Proficiency: Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software is a plus.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong sense of accountability.
- Leadership Potential: Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and a willingness to learn new supervisory techniques.
