Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Lead and train 10-15 staff members, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and performance standards
- Utilize provided equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, WMS scanners) to optimize inventory accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics activities with transportation and procurement teams
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance scheduling
- Generate performance reports for senior leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervision experience with equipment management
- OSHA certification and forklift operator license (training provided)
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution abilities
- Experience with OSHA compliance and safety program implementation
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
