Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Train and manage team of warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and performance standards
- Optimize inventory management systems using provided WMS technology
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance scheduling for provided machinery
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Generate performance reports and analyze operational metrics
- Coordinate with transportation and purchasing departments for seamless logistics
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse supervision experience with proven leadership skills
- Familiarity with WMS systems and warehouse management software
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Experience with inventory control and cycle counting
- Ability to operate and train others on provided warehouse equipment
- Excellent communication and team management capabilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
