Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring workflow efficiency, accurate inventory counts, and timely order fulfillment.
- Equipment Management: Manage the inventory and maintenance schedules for all provided warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free working environment for all staff.
- Team Supervision: Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise a diverse team of warehouse staff and material handlers.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement and implement strategies to reduce costs and increase productivity.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze daily operational reports to track performance metrics and address bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams and managing conflict effectively.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Training provided if you do not already possess one).
- Skills: Strong proficiency with inventory management software and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and operate heavy machinery.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
