Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Oversee daily receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety and high performance.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and manage inventory discrepancies to ensure 99.9% accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA safety standards, conduct regular safety audits, and ensure all forklifts and machinery are maintained and operational.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational bottlenecks and implement best practices to reduce waste and optimize workflow.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Business preferred.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams, managing conflict, and driving performance metrics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate heavy machinery (Forklift certification provided).
