Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Optimize inventory control procedures to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols to ensure zero-accident workplace
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient inbound/outbound shipping
- Manage warehouse layout and equipment utilization for maximum efficiency
- Generate daily/weekly performance reports for senior leadership
- Resolve operational bottlenecks using lean methodology principles
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supply chain management experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proficient in WMS systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Forklift certification and equipment operation experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Proven leadership experience in union/non-union environments
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
