Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and shipping
- Lead and mentor team of 10-15 warehouse associates with performance coaching
- Implement lean methodologies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe work environment
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and purchasing teams
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in distribution environment
- Forklift certification and strong material handling knowledge
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office
- Proven ability to manage inventory accuracy (cycle count experience)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Flexible availability including occasional weekends
