Responsibilities
- Supervise 8-12 warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Optimize inventory control systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics with 3PL partners and transportation teams
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and conduct regular facility inspections
- Implement lean principles to reduce operational costs by 15% annually
- Generate daily/weekly performance reports for senior leadership
- Manage cross-functional projects with sales, procurement, and customer service teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience in distribution/logistics
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Forklift certification and hazardous materials handling experience preferred
- Proven ability to manage teams of 10+ employees in union/non-union environments
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI tracking and process improvement
