Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize daily warehouse operations and logistics workflows.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and ensure high accuracy.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
- Lead, train, mentor, and schedule a diverse team of warehouse staff.
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics departments to ensure timely shipments and deliveries.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Handle inventory discrepancies and resolve operational issues immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Valid Forklift Certification and ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, reach trucks).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
