Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Optimize inventory control processes, ensuring accurate stock counts and cycle counts
- Implement safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards across all operations
- Coordinate shipping/receiving activities and maintain accurate documentation
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and reporting
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
- Resolve operational challenges and maintain workflow during peak periods
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends as needed
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and inventory control best practices
