Job Overview:
Oversee daily warehouse operations, manage inventory, and lead a team of dedicated workers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Manage and oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring workflow efficiency and productivity targets are met.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Team Management: Train, mentor, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive team atmosphere.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular inventory audits, and manage storage organization.
- Logistics Coordination: Communicate effectively with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is maintained and in safe working condition.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve overall warehouse efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: No prior supervisory experience required. We are looking for potential and a strong work ethic.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and strong communication skills are essential.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- License: Valid Driver’s License is preferred but not mandatory.
