Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Lead and mentor 8-10 team members through performance coaching and scheduling
- Implement lean inventory management systems and cycle count protocols
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe work environment
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum efficiency and space utilization
- Collaborate with logistics team for seamless cross-functional operations
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory software
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development track record
- Ability to analyze metrics and implement process improvements
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility for evening/weekend shifts during peak seasons
