Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to ensure high performance and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing and sales teams to ensure accurate stock management.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Implement process improvements and optimize workflows to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory, equipment, and facilities to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports regarding productivity, staff performance, and operational issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct, motivate, and evaluate a diverse team.
- Forklift certification and valid driver's license required.
- High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and computer software.
