Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Manage, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement procedures to prevent shrinkage and ensure stock accuracy.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations (OSHA) and company policies to maintain a safe workplace.
- Optimize workflow processes and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Collaborate with logistics coordinators and management to resolve operational issues and meet key performance indicators.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct a team effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
