We are looking for a proactive professional to manage daily operations, mentor staff, and maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Direct and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure 100% order accuracy and timely delivery.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate a diverse team of warehouse associates to maximize productivity and maintain high morale.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and implement inventory management procedures to prevent shrinkage and discrepancies.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and organization of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and conveyor systems.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or operations management.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (must be willing to obtain if not currently certified).
- Skills: Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Leadership: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
