Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and inventory management to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Implement and enforce strict safety regulations and OSHA compliance standards to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Manage stock levels, coordinate with logistics teams for timely shipments, and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Optimize warehouse layouts and processes to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Prepare daily shift reports and communicate key operational updates to upper management.
- Handle equipment maintenance, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to ensure machinery is in working order.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role.
- Proven experience with inventory management systems and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Forklift certification and ability to operate heavy machinery safely.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
