Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations, ensuring all activities adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory levels, conducting regular stock counts and ensuring accurate record-keeping through Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of productivity and safety.
- Ensure all equipment provided by the company is maintained in optimal condition and used safely.
- Implement and monitor safety protocols (OSHA compliance) to minimize workplace accidents and injuries.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage strategies to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with logistics and procurement teams to streamline order fulfillment and shipping processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or operations management.
- Valid Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification; training provided).
- Strong knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory control procedures.
- Proven track record of enforcing safety standards and managing a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
