Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching inventory to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Manage, mentor, and train a diverse team of warehouse associates to maximize productivity and safety standards.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and compliance regulations to maintain a hazard-free working environment.
- Monitor inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies with stock management systems.
- Optimize warehouse layouts and operational workflows to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Prepare and review daily shipping manifests and reports to ensure accuracy and meet KPI targets.
- Coordinate with other departments such as procurement and sales to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Proven experience leading and supervising teams in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management software and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Forklift certification and ability to operate heavy machinery safely.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
