Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Implement and maintain OSHA safety standards and warehouse protocols
- Optimize inventory control systems and implement lean operational practices
- Coordinate shipping/receiving processes and manage dock operations
- Resolve operational issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Generate performance reports and analyze KPIs for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with logistics team on supply chain optimization
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervision experience in distribution/logistics
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory management
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development experience
- Forklift certification and equipment operation knowledge
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and data-driven decision making
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends as needed
- High school diploma; bachelor's degree preferred
