Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on safety procedures and operational standards
- Implement inventory control systems to maintain accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Monitor performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn warehouse management systems
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities
- No prior warehouse experience required – paid training provided
- Valid Indiana driver's license preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
