Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping activities
- Manage team of 8-12 warehouse associates, providing performance feedback and coaching
- Implement safety protocols and conduct regular OSHA compliance inspections
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems and conduct cycle counts
- Optimize workflow efficiency to meet KPIs for productivity and accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional communication with transportation and purchasing departments
- Train and develop team members on new processes and equipment operation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years experience in warehouse or supply chain operations
- Strong leadership skills with proven team management experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain through paid training)
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain during training)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays during peak seasons
