Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Direct and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, train, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a positive, safety-conscious, and high-performance work environment.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, implement rigorous stock-taking procedures, and manage discrepancies to ensure accurate stock records.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety policies to prevent accidents and ensure a secure workplace for all employees.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current workflows and implement process improvements to reduce costs, minimize waste, and increase overall productivity.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits of stock and operations to ensure product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
- Skills: Proficient in inventory management software (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and skilled in operating standard warehouse equipment (Forklift, pallet jacks).
- Leadership: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team effectively.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to identify operational bottlenecks and implement effective, data-driven solutions quickly.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
