Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure OSHA compliance and accident prevention
- Lead and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse staff through performance management and training
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure timely and accurate shipping/receiving
- Utilize WMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) for inventory tracking and reporting
- Conduct regular audits and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse/supply chain management experience with 2+ in supervisory roles
- OSHA certification and strong knowledge of safety regulations
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven experience leading teams in fast-paced logistics environments
- Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Forklift certification and experience with warehouse equipment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
