Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and timely shipping.
- Manage, mentor, and train a diverse team of warehouse staff to maintain high productivity and morale.
- Monitor inventory levels using WMS systems and implement strict stock control procedures.
- Enforce strict safety standards (OSHA compliance) and conduct regular safety audits.
- Optimize workflows and implement process improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
- Prepare and analyze operational reports, including labor hours, inventory variance, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to resolve logistics bottlenecks and supply chain disruptions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision, logistics, or inventory management.
- Strong proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Proven ability to lead teams effectively and foster a positive work environment.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate various warehouse environments.
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
