Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping of high-value inventory
- Train and mentor 15+ staff members on safety protocols, equipment operation, and productivity standards
- Implement lean principles to reduce waste and optimize space utilization in 50,000 sq. ft. facility
- Conduct weekly safety audits and maintain OSHA compliance documentation
- Manage inventory control systems with 99.5% accuracy requirements
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in distribution centers
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operation credentials
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven ability to lead teams of 10+ employees with diverse skill sets
- Strong analytical skills for inventory optimization and cost reduction
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
- Experience with automation technologies (AS/RS, conveyors)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management preferred
