Responsibilities
- Operations Leadership: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure 100% order accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor staff to foster a positive, safety-first work environment and maximize productivity.
- Inventory Control: Implement strict inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage, manage stock levels effectively, and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA safety standards, conduct regular safety audits, and ensure the proper use of all provided equipment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all warehouse machinery and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are maintained in excellent working condition.
- Process Improvement: Analyze workflow bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator Certification and OSHA 10/30 training are required.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams to meet KPIs, improve operational efficiency, and maintain high morale.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP, Manhattan, or Oracle.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various weather conditions (dock door environment).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write clear shift reports.
