Responsibilities
- Load and unload temperature-controlled freight safely and efficiently using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Monitor and maintain accurate temperature logs to ensure product integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Organize, sort, and restock inventory within freezer and cooler sections.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of equipment and work areas.
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock levels and shipments.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and reduce downtime.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or cold storage environment is a plus (training provided).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is highly desirable.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols strictly.
