Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping orders.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company policies to minimize workplace hazards.
- Lead, mentor, and train a diverse team of warehouse associates to improve productivity and morale.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and the utilization of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Analyze workflow processes to identify bottlenecks and implement strategies for operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with logistics partners and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions as necessary to maintain high standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations or a related field.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification and ability to obtain other necessary certifications.
- Strong proficiency in computer systems and inventory management software.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
