Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Optimize inventory control systems and implement lean warehouse practices
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, FDA, and HACCP standards
- Coordinate loading/unloading operations with 24/7 trucking partners
- Conduct daily safety audits and maintain accurate incident documentation
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and forklift certification programs
- Develop monthly KPI reports for operational efficiency metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in cold chain or refrigerated logistics
- OSHA 30-hour and forklift certification required
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development track record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Forklift and pallet jack operation expertise
- Knowledge of Alaska DOT and state-specific regulations
