Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff across receiving, picking, packing, and shipping departments
- Optimize inventory control procedures to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and conduct regular safety training
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling
- Implement lean methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage performance metrics including KPIs and productivity reports
- Train and develop team members through structured onboarding programs
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with team leadership
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan)
- Forklift certification and heavy equipment operation experience
- Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
