Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping of goods
- Manage and mentor a team of 10-15 warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and safety standards
- Implement and optimize inventory control systems using WMS technology
- Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce OSHA compliance protocols
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure efficient delivery schedules
- Analyze operational metrics and implement process improvements
- Prepare reports on inventory levels, productivity, and warehouse performance
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with proven team leadership
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems (WMS experience required)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
