Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Manage and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse associates through performance coaching and scheduling
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols and maintain compliance with industry regulations
- Optimize inventory control procedures using WMS systems to minimize discrepancies
- Conduct regular process audits to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
- Collaborate with transportation and purchasing teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations
- Prepare operational reports and KPI tracking for leadership review
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience in distribution or manufacturing
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development experience
- Forklift certification and equipment operation expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodology knowledge
