Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor 10-15 warehouse staff, delegating tasks and maintaining productivity standards
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols to ensure zero-accident compliance
- Optimize inventory management systems, including cycle counts and stock reconciliation
- Coordinate loading/unloading operations with transportation teams for seamless workflow
- Train staff on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) and warehouse technologies
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation of warehouse activities and performance metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with team leadership responsibilities
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training credentials
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory management software
- Forklift certification and equipment operation expertise
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
