Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 15-20 warehouse associates through performance coaching and scheduling
- Implement safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance across all operational areas
- Optimize warehouse processes for efficiency, accuracy, and cost reduction
- Conduct regular audits and maintain accurate inventory records
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless logistics execution
- Prepare operational reports and KPI tracking for management review
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Forklift certification and equipment operation skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities under pressure
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings/nights
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's preferred
